WAICU: What Private Higher Education Provides to the State of Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) is a collaborative of the private higher education institutions in the state of Wisconsin. These 23 institutions, 10 of which are in the greater Milwaukee area, serve nearly a quarter of all undergraduate students and over a third of all graduate students in the state of Wisconsin. In 2021 WAICU is celebrating the anniversary of serving the educational needs of our state for 60 years. Three members of the Downtown Milwaukee rotary who are also Presidents of WAICU institutions will provide information about WAICU by the numbers, the benefits it provides to the state, its journey through COVID-19 and some unique contributions from a variety of WAICU schools.
