Those working for the Criminal Justice System take risks every day, from the police officer on the street, to the Judge in Court, to the probation officer with the Department of Corrections. Chief Judge Jeffrey A. Kremers believes these decisions are best made by incorporating sound professional judgment with the latest research on risk and needs assessment. Chief Judge Kremers spoke to Rotary about Milwaukee's collaborative efforts to use evidence based decision making in our Criminal Justice System.
