The Milwaukee Press Club and the Rotary Club of Milwaukee will present a Newsmaker Luncheon, featuring David Stearns, the new general manager of the Milwaukee Brewers.  Stearns was hired last fall at age 30, and became the youngest general manager in the major leagues today. At the time he was hired, Stearns was less than half the age of outgoing general manager Doug Melvin and one year younger than Brewers right fielder Ryan Braun.  Stearns youth and experience with data analytics is seen as crucial for the future of the Brewers as they embark on a major rebuilding effort.
